This Privacy Policy describes how Basketball Game Data developed by Top-Sheriff Engineering Ltd. (“we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, and handles information when you use the Basketball Game Data mobile application (“the App”) and our website. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Introduction

We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information the App collects, why it collects it, and how it is handled. We collect only the minimum information necessary to provide the App’s functionality and understand how users discover the App.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Automatically Collected Information

When you first launch the App, the following information is collected automatically:

  • Anonymous identifier: A randomly generated identifier is created and stored on your device. It is unique to your installation and is not linked to your name, email, or any other personal information. It persists on your device until you uninstall the App or clear its data.
  • Device language and region: The App reads your device’s language and region settings to display content in the appropriate language.
  • Google Advertising ID: The App collects your device’s Advertising ID for attribution purposes — to understand how users discover and install the App.
  • Attribution data: The App collects information about the installation source and marketing campaign (if any) that led you to the App. This helps us understand how users find the App.

No other device data (such as device model, operating system version, or screen resolution) is collected directly by the App. However, AppsFlyer, our attribution partner, collects additional device data as part of its standard operation (see Section 4 below).

2.2 Built-in Browser

The App includes a built-in browser used to display the Privacy Policy and the Support page directly within the App. The built-in browser supports standard browser features, including cookies (including third-party cookies) and local storage set by the pages it loads. The built-in browser does not collect any additional data beyond what is described in section 2.1 above. Any pages loaded in the built-in browser operate under their own privacy practices.

2.3 Local Data Storage

The App stores your game data, team rosters, player statistics, and settings locally on your device. This data:

  • Remains entirely on your device and is not transmitted to our servers
  • Is retained until you uninstall the App or use the “Clear Data” option in Settings
  • Is not accessible to third parties

2.4 Support and Bug Reports

The App’s Support page allows you to send us a message or report a bug. When you submit a support request, you may provide:

  • Your name and email address
  • A subject and description of your question or the issue you encountered
  • An optional file attachment — you can take a photo or video using your device’s camera, or choose an existing file (such as a screenshot, image, video, or document) through your device’s file picker

This information is submitted only when you choose to send a support request. We use it solely to respond to your inquiry and resolve the reported issue. The App itself does not access your camera directly — photo and video capture is handled entirely by your device’s built-in camera app.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

  • To provide and maintain the App’s core functionality
  • To display the App in your device’s language
  • To understand how users discover and install the App (attribution)
  • To respond to support requests you submit
  • To comply with legal obligations

4. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

The App uses AppsFlyer for mobile attribution and marketing analytics. The following data is shared with AppsFlyer:

  • Your anonymous identifier
  • Google Advertising ID
  • Attribution data (installation source, campaign name)

AppsFlyer also collects additional device information (such as IP address, device model, and operating system version) as part of its standard operation. For more details, see the AppsFlyer Privacy Policy.

Support requests you submit are handled by us directly and are not shared with third parties except where required by law.

5. Data Retention

  • Anonymous identifier: Persists on your device until you uninstall the App or clear its data.
  • Google Advertising ID: Managed by Google Play Services; can be reset by you at any time in your device settings.
  • Attribution data: Managed by AppsFlyer; tied to your app installation.
  • Local game data: Persists on your device until you uninstall the App or use the “Clear Data” option in Settings.
  • Browser cookies and local storage: Follow standard browser expiration rules and are cleared when you clear the App’s data.
  • Support messages: Retained as long as necessary to resolve your inquiry.

6. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. Most network connections made by the App use encrypted protocols (HTTPS). However, some connections may use unencrypted HTTP, and no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

7. Your Rights and Choices

You have the following options to control your data:

  • Clear local data: Use the “Clear Data” option in the App’s Settings screen to remove all locally stored game data, or clear the App’s data through your device settings.
  • Reset anonymous identifier: Uninstalling and reinstalling the App generates a new anonymous identifier.
  • Reset Advertising ID: You can reset your Advertising ID or opt out of ad personalization in your device settings (Settings > Google > Ads).
  • Clear browser data: Cookies and local storage set by the built-in browser are cleared when you clear the App’s data through your device settings.
  • Privacy inquiries: Contact us at the email below for any questions or requests regarding your data.

8. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us immediately and we will take steps to delete such information.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
